We live in a strange world today. Nothing is considered obvious. Everyone seeks to protect themselves from being sued, no matter how silly they may look. Sometimes the warning labels are written more for the author rather than the user of the products that require the warning. Here are a few funny examples.

Sleeping Pills - Caution: May make you drowsy.
Dog Shampoo The contents of this bottle should not be fed to fish.
Stroller Remove infant before folding for storage.
Microwave Oven Do not use for drying pets.
Toilet bowl cleaning brush Do not use orally.
Can of insecticide This spray is harmful to insects.
Firecrackers Do not light while holding in mouth.
TV Dinner Remove plastic wrap before eating.
Batteries Do not swallow. C or D batteries may cause choking.
22 Caliber Rifle May cause injury or death.
Disposable diapers Dispose of after use.

Perhaps I should not make light of such a serious topic as warning labels. They have their place in terms of product labels. Below are some more important uses for warning labels.

Dangerous chemicals.
Heavy parcel.
Contains traces of peanut.
Hot surface.
Asbestos.
Turn off power.
Use medication with or after food.
Hazardous materials.
Smoking can cause lung cancer.
Handle with care.

There is a common theme amongst these warning labels. Many of them have an exclamation point inside a triangle. Others have DANGER in white letters in a red oval on a black rectangle.
